GENERAL CONTEST RULES FOR MOUSER'S
NIWEEK GIVEAWAY PRIZE(S) DRAWING

Eligibility:
The Contest is open to attendees of the 2016 NI Week Conference in Austin, Texas at the Austin Convention Center (500 E Cesar Chavez St., Austin, TX 78701), August 1-3, who are 18 years of age or older, valid date of birth is required. Employees of Mouser Electronics, Inc. and the immediate family and household members of such employee are not eligible.

Prize Deadlines:
The contest for NI Week Conference will start at 5:30pm on Monday, August 1 and will end at 6:00pm on Wednesday August 3, 2016. Entries will be accepted during these booth hours: 5:30pm – 7:00pm Monday; 10:00am – 7:00pm Tuesday; 10:00am – 6:00pm Wednesday.

Prize & Contest:
To be eligible for a chance to win in the Drawing, the entrant is required to scan his/her conference badge at the Mouser booth at the Conference. By entering, each contestant grants permission and acceptance of receiving Mouser’s monthly e-newsletter. The contestants will be entered to receive the prize of either an Apple Watch or a Moto 360 – 2nd Gen. One entry allowed per person. Winners will be selected from a random drawing of all entries held on or before August 19, 2016 at Mouser Electronics. Winners will be notified via phone or email. They do not need to be present to win.

Apple Watch: One (1) Apple Watch (42mm Space Gray Aluminum Case with Black Sport Band), with an approximate retail value of US$300)

Moto 360 – 2nd Gen: One (1) Android Wear Moto 360 – 2nd Gen (Black 42mm with Black Band), with an approximate retail value of US $300)

Winner Selection and Notification:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: A purchase of any kind will not increase your chances of winning. The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. Any attempted second entry shall be discarded, and the entrant may be disqualified from the Contest. All drawings will be conducted under the supervision of Mouser Electronics, Inc. The decisions of Mouser are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Entrants need not be present at the drawing to win a prize. If a winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made within seven (7) business days of Mouser Electronics’ first attempt, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.

General Conditions:
This Contest is void where and to the extent prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable laws, including, without limitation, federal, state, and local laws and regulations. In the event of non-compliance by any winner with the official rules of this Contest, an alternate winner may be selected. Prize is non-transferable. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in a disqualification of the winner and an alternate winner may be selected. All prizes will be awarded. Except where legally prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Mouser Electronics, Inc. to use each winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, address (city, state and/or country) and testimonials, in printed, broadcast or other media, whether now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, in any manner it deems appropriate in connection with promoting this or any other Contest and/or promotion sponsored by it, without further compensation to the winner. Additionally, Contest entry provides permission and acceptance of receiving Mouser’s monthly e-newsletter.

Privacy Information:
Any personal information received by Mouser Electronics, Inc. in connection with this Contest will be used solely in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy, which can be found at mouser.com/privacypolicy.

Releases:
By participating, entrants agree that Mouser Electronics, Inc., those involved in the development, production (including prize suppliers), implementation and distribution of this Contest and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion (hereinafter collectively called "Promoters"), shall not be liable for any claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this Contest, including entry and participation in this Contest and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes. All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to such entrant’s participation in this Contest, such entrant will indemnify and hold Promoters harmless from and against any and all such claims, including reasonable attorneys’ fees related thereto. Promoters shall not be liable for entries that are delayed, lost, misdirected, undelivered, incorrect or incomplete, and such entries will be not be eligible for this Contest. Promoters shall not be responsible for any technical malfunctions of any telephone network, computer online system, computer equipment or software; program malfunctions or other failures; delayed computer transactions or network connections; any errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic; or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to the computer of any entrant or any other person related to or resulting from downloading any part of this Contest. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Contest will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Mouser Electronics reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond its control corrupt the proper administration or security of the Contest. Mouser Electronics reserves the right to modify the rules of the Contest in any way or at any time, as long as reasonable notice is given. All taxes, duties, or fees on any prize won are the sole responsibility of each winner, including, without limitation, any federal/country, state, or local taxes, which may be deemed applicable in such winner’s jurisdiction of residence. This Contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America. By participating in this contest, entrants agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Texas shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Contest and that venue for such litigation shall be only in the State/Federal Court located in Tarrant County, Texas, United States of America.

Taxes:
All income, sales, use and other taxes, duties, or fees (and the reporting thereof) assessed as a result of winning any prize won are the sole responsibility of the winner, including, without limitation, any federal, state, county or local taxes, which may be deemed applicable in such winner’s jurisdiction of residence.

Compliance Regulations:
Mouser does not take liability in case the acceptance of a gift under these Rules by Entrant constitutes a compliance breach with his or her employer. Mouser hereby asks Entrants to check on compliance regulations of his or her employer, if applicable. Mouser explicitly does not require nor ask (directly or indirectly, explicitly or implicitly) for any advantage given by Entrant in exchange for the gift. Mouser does only present its products by this gift procedure.

Governing Laws, Recourse to Courts:
This Contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America. This Contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America. By participating in this contest, entrants agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Texas shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Contest and that venue for such litigation shall be only in the State/Federal Court located in Tarrant County, Texas, United States of America.

Conditions:
Each entrant, by entering this Promotion, agrees that: (i) he or she will abide by and be bound by these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all respects; (ii) Promoter has not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize and specifically disclaim all such warranties, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose; and (iii) the prize is awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

Severability:
If any provisions of these Official Rules are determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision were not contained herein.

Request for results and details of the winner:
The Promoter shall make available on request the details of the name and county of the prize winner, without compromising the winner's personal information no more than 30 days after the Exhibition. Such requests can be made by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Mouser’s Giveaway at NI Week (2016), c/o Mouser Electronics, Inc., 1000 N. Main Street, Mansfield, TX 76063. Entrants included in these Promotions should retain these Contest Rules for reference. Further copies are available upon request from the Promoter.
